Oriental ornament, warm carved wood, American retro and a couple of non-bar accents - such a set within the borders of one Moscow apartment does not fall under any definition of style. However, the departure from the dictates of style is exactly what the authors of the project wanted.

For guests of this Moscow apartment, its entire interior is one big room, which you get from a light corridor. The spacious living room combined kitchen, dining and chill-out - three key areas of the room. The private life of the owners is hidden from the views of guests: a bedroom with a master bathroom and an office with its bathroom remain behind a wooden sliding partition that leads to the private part of the apartment directly from the hallway. At the request of the customer at the stage of the project from the dressing room refused. Due to the free space, the area of the bedroom increased, and the wardrobe, which was installed in the bedroom in a niche specially made for it, assumed the role of a dressing room.

"For painting the walls, I chose a complex greenish gray color," says Dunya Vershinskaya. - General and for the living room, and for the bedroom, and for the office, it looks different in different rooms. In addition, in the office in this color not only painted walls, but also the ceiling. On the vertical and horizontal planes, the color plays depending on the backlight. In such monochrome interiors, the atmosphere is created by furniture, accessories and light. "

The main decorative element was the Arabic ornament. “It’s very difficult to surprise such a customer as the owner of this apartment. When the Arabic script appeared on the first sketches, the customer’s attitude to this idea was not clear,” Dunya recalls. “But in the end we decided that the elegant Oriental ornament would be the main interior decoration.Arabic ligature used in the design of doors, furniture, walls in the dining room, it adorns the sliding openwork shutters attached to the rails that surround the living room The ceiling of the bedroom is ribbed with beams, massive patterned wooden doors, like carved shutters, were custom-made from ash.

The armchairs covered with cowhide, metal lamps with oriental ornamentation, an elegant console covered with aged silver, and large photographs that were not hung but placed in the living room made the interior lively and cozy. I hope we created exactly what this particular person needed in this particular house - warmth and comfort. "

Dunya Vershinskaya: "When planning this apartment, we really wanted to move away from the usual stylistic cliches, we did not pursue the goal of fitting into the framework of any particular style. The apartment was not intended for permanent residence - the owners stop here if you need to stay in the capital for work. Furniture they didn’t buy right away, but took it "for a fitting" - they agreed with the salon, brought the thing and looked how organically it fit into the interior. Often the customer turned out to be much bolder than me, choosing items different in style. As a result ntereru a mix went only benefit "
