Intelligence, coordination and ergonomics are the basis of this interior. There is nothing surprising in this approach: the apartment in question is intended to be not so much the owner’s dwelling as his office The combination of living and working space seriously influenced both the layout and the style of the interior as a whole. The representative, office part of the apartment, the reception room and the meeting room, became dominant. The main emphasis in this area is placed on the ceiling, made of various elements: concrete, reinforced with a black metal mesh, polycarbonate inclusions, powerful ceiling beams, complex lighting - a real high-tech art object. Each level of construction is read as a kind of board - a matrix created within a single apartment. The impression is reinforced by monochrome walls, finished under concrete, and large windows with strict blinds. Open living room plays the role of a link between the office and private areas of the house. In the residential part of the apartment the sound of the interior becomes softer and more restrained. The shades of white and gray, the play of various volumes and contours give the space a kind of sculpturing: the outline of the arch separating the living room from the office resembles the wings of a giant bird, or the crown of a sprawling tree ... In the bedroom, the harsh rationalism of space is practically reduced to nothing. The subdued light, the unusual configuration of the walls make this chamber space homely and cozy. The apartment occupies the last floor of the former building, initially this area was not intended for living. To animate the room, the architects decided to “confuse” the interior a bit, breaking its hard chopped rhythm. From here there are unusual structures of internal partitions, rounded walls of various thickness, slightly curved lines of doorways. The authors created an apartment-labyrinth with many interesting solutions and unexpected turns.Chris Aslaman: "The interior is capacious, rich, intrigue is constantly present: double walls, doors of the wrong configuration, complex ceilings. If we talk about the stylistic decision, this is pure high-tech. In our opinion, this style is most adequate to the way of life and thinking of modern man. "
