If you look closely, this is a balanced cocktail of styles in which both European and American influences are noticeable. We are used to the fact that the interior mix on the principle of geography has long been no longer perceived as a paradox. But today the process goes even further: the classics and modernity are no longer recognized as polar categories. They are increasingly converging, blurring the boundaries between them ... (Visitors to interior exhibitions, especially in the last two years, have noticed this.) And if the customer says to the architect “I want a classic,” he understands that it is likely to be about interpreting the classics, about its author's interpretation. At least in this case, it was just that. In the company of classic pilasters, moldings and parquetry of the palace layout, modern paintings, plexiglass chairs, Murano glass designer chandeliers and steel floor vases feel great.
