The aesthetics of an old Moscow country cottage and Provence style can find points of contact. An example is this living room in a house designed by Maria Glinskaya

Take a closer look: the wall in the mirror reflects the wall decorated with wallpaper, but not everything should be smooth in the “house with history” that this interior is designed for. Therefore, they did not even begin to plaster the opposite wall: they are simply painted white bricks. By the way, the glamorous mirror in the neoclassical style looks better on such a wall than on politically correct wallpaper.
The stove with tiles, the floor, trimmed with solid wood, is quite in the spirit of a European villa. And, by the way, in the spirit of the Moscow region dacha too. Furniture assembled according to the “antikomplekt” principle is necessarily aged, and antique books with deliberately worn covers will complete the plan.
