The design demands graphic motifs, especially various fonts and inscriptions.

It would seem that everything is very simple: the letters are put into words, words - in sentences. Combine them with a common idea - you get the text. As if not so! At least in modern design. Letters twist, twirl, and as a result we get lamps, tables, chairs - in a word, anything, but not language values. The content of this design text is not the most important. A linguist-traditionalist such works would have horrified, but on the contrary, futurist poets, rebels and innovators would have liked it.

Pop art artists were fascinated with inscriptions; the canvases of the 1960s and 80s are dotted with more and more slogans and slogans. Modern designers do not proclaim anything, considering the inscription as a variation on the theme of ornament. Armchairs KARTELL, for example, are decorated with bright multi-colored and multi-scale letters, as if inscribed by a child's hand. The thing is fun and with fiction and will fit into any Europeanized living room. Spectacular detail of the bed, released by the factory sleepless- a high headboard decorated with a print with the word light. Figure as if from paintings by Wassily Kandinsky. Well, the classic pop art version - table Marilyn (Rugiano) with bright pink text mixed with portraits of a Hollywood diva.
