The coexistence of different time-scale types of art in the same volume is decided by the purity of the concept of space. The most flexible and practically universal solution is theatrical winding, where any action takes place without disturbing the internal organization of space. By doing this, the authors of the interior design project for the Fashion Center, Valentin Yudashkina - Architectural Bureau 900, managed to resolve a compromise between two types of arts: Architecture and Fashion- My feelings, my personal feelings are connected with the House of Models, so I wanted everyone who came here to immediately fall into "my" atmosphere. From the interview with Valentin Yudashkin: After all, if a person comes to the Bolshoi Theater, he just needs to understand where and why he came. First of all, he must, in the interior itself, see something that gives an idea of ​​the person or team that works in it. - I am an unusual customer, I constantly have new ideas, new ideas. Probably, therefore, the project has repeatedly had to make changes. It may seem that my requirements are too strict, but first of all it should be convenient for me and my guests. That is my basic principle.- What is done, of course, does not quite suit. There are a lot of deficiencies, even construction work in some places remained unfinished. It always seemed to me that when the last nail was driven into the house, the house was already dead. And while he is alive, you can still play with inner space, look for light, mood, style ... - The interior of the House of Models is definitely interesting to me. Here are things that I like, surrounded by which you can feel at home. As in any action for a given scenario, the development of the space of the House of Models moves along a system of symbols reflecting the essence of what is happening. These are symbols of the dynamic process of demonstration of models, that is, movement along the horizontal plane of the podium. In this sense, the theme of the podium is quite mobile, since it can simultaneously be both an image and a constructive element. In the interior of the House of Models, it moves from a purely utilitarian value (the main podium) through the conditional (the podium in front of Yudashkin's office) to the symbolic (“visor” shape above the staircase leading to the bar, bar counter and a structural element on the bar ceiling). In addition to the dynamic theme, there is also a theme that can be called decorative or "nominal." Attributes of the demonstration process, as the action of the front door, are furnished very magnificently and solemnly. Therefore, there is a "stylish" frame of the main catwalk and emblem monogram, which precedes the demonstration of models and is a kind of calling card of fashion designers. It is not easy in this case to talk about harmony or disharmony. But the decisive argument in favor of a combination of styles is that the image took place and is perceived as one and there is no need to look for individual flaws in it. Rather, it is a manifestation of individuality.
