The architect Nikolai Lim recently designed and opened under his workshop (the floor below) the cafe "Jem" (St. Petersburg, Ryleeva st., 12). The author did not set any super tasks. “I just wanted to create a place where my friends could gather,” he says. The ideology of this institution is contained in the title, in which everyone finds their own meaning. Decorative elements, which became the canvas of the project, appeared to compensate for the shortcomings of space. To enliven the dark room, a "stream" appeared on the floor - a stream of water bubbling under glass. Over time, the author suggests, live trees will appear. The creative atmosphere of the new institution will be supported by exhibitions of paintings by talented Petersburg artists. The place promises to be the second creative workshop of the author of the project.
