The refined-aristocratic, graceful-mannered rococo style is again in honor. His couturier preaches, designers give him a tribute

The rococo style has been and has a mass of fans. In the past this is the French king Louis XV and Madame de Pompadour. Nowadays, this is, for example, the GIVENCHY Fashion House, as well as the famous French decorators, palace-related experts Francois-Joseph Graf Jacques Garcia.

The light, laid-back art of Rococo arose as a reaction to the heavy, solid baroque. Thin-legged sofas, chairs with whimsically curved backs and slender floor lamps have replaced the painted furniture and weighty lamps. Porcelain turned out to be popular (whole porcelain cabinets appeared, decorated with hundreds of vases and figurines): it personified the fragility and transience of this art.

Now rococo is perceived as synonymous with everything elegant. This style is playful, backstage, with anything but a puritanical theme (it was not by chance that the indiscreet canvases of the Frenchman Jean-Honore Fragonard were valued so). The color scheme is also responsible for flimsy plots, inaccuracy: rococo interiors are designed in obscure, pastel colors.

Rococo came to the court to the heirs of the "Sun King", turned out to be useful to modern designers. To create an atmosphere of exquisite celebration, these latter offer a table on an elegant gilded leg, a mirror in a carved frame (there is a motif of a shell in the thread, giving the name to the style), as well as floral textiles and porcelain with a trellis trellis decor.
