Products of the German company Hulsta appeared in Russia 15 years ago. The ideology of the factory is architectural. Furniture, like a competent urban development, flexibly fits into the living space and forms it. We met with Frank Knewing, an ESP-manager for Eastern European countries, at the Milan exhibition and talked about Russian women, about music lovers and about healthy sleep.

Frank, tell me, what new has appeared in work with the Russian market for 15 years? —We offer high-end products. I will explain what it is. We must understand the aspirations of each individual person and offer him what he needs. The Russian market has its own characteristics. When we started in Russia, we learned a lot of new things, and we had to tune our model range. For example, Russian ladies prefer to devote considerable time to make-up and apply it not standing at the bathroom mirror, but comfortably in the bedroom. That is, they need dressing tables in the bedroom! In Holland, Belgium and Germany, none of the clients ask if we have dressing tables in the catalog. And in Russia this question always sounds! And there are a lot of such nuances in the work, all the time you have to listen to what people want.
