“Our new project,” says Marina Levina, “in many elements of the decor repeats the first“ El Gauchito ”that we opened in 2011. This is a stylish modern classic in soothing gray and black and white. In one of the rooms there is an Italian antique fireplace. The wall above it is decorated with a reproduction of an ancient sea map of the 18th century. In the decoration we used costume fabrics with the pied de poule pattern, famous in fashion history (in the Russian version, “goose foot”), which glorified Coco Chanel. The sofas are covered with tweed and cashmere. Bearing columns are decorated with cowhide. The bar counter, the doors and the grill were made to order by our author sketches in Russia. ” Since El Gauchito is a meat restaurant, you should definitely try Australian, Argentinean beef and New Zealand lamb steaks, cooked on a traditional Argentinean parilla grill.
