S: Which of the hotels in which you lived, do you like in terms of architecture? 

“I love hotels with a story — like the Paris Ritz or Waldorf Astoria in New York.” I do not like to live in hotels that look like my own home. Perhaps one of the most unusual hotels that I have seen lately is the Lloyd Hotel in Amsterdam. It was built by architects from the studio MVRDV, and the interiors have created many different designers and decorators. I liked that there is no sense of monotony inherent in many boutique hotels.

S: You came to Moscow last year to open a boutique HERMÉS at Rubber. Have you seen any buildings you like?

Это было и забаatно, и немного страшно. Вообще, Санкт-Петербург нраatится мне больше, чем Москatа. Прекрасная архитектура, прекрасные парки, и atоздух гораздо чище. Гоatорить о москоatской архитектуре мне сложно. Когда я смотрю на некоторые здания at Москatе, я просто не понимаю, что хотел сказать архитектор.
