Any space must be used to 100 percent, even if at first glance it can not be done. A few golden rules - and the apartment of an unprofitable, elongated shape becomes for a young family a concentration of comfortable life, where there is a large living room for friends, and a reserved bedroom area with its small winter garden, and an office in a glass cube

"Do not keep unnecessary things in the home - it will immediately become more spacious and cleaner!" - this slogan addressed Mayakovsky to all new settlers. The author of the project not only repeats it to his students at MARHI, but also focuses on it in his own practice. “Only design and finishing techniques are the essence of the architectural solution of this apartment,” says Tatyana. “There is almost no excessive decor, only the right volume. And it was not an easy task!” Apartment of 220 square meters in the historical center of Moscow is in itself a rare luck. “From the windows there is such a view of the old Moscow lane with overgrown ancient trees that no more pictures are needed in the interior,” recalls the architect. The only drawback of the new apartment seemed to be its shape - a very elongated rectangle, two of the four sides of which are completely dark, without windows. The decision came by itself - a front (representative) part of the apartment appeared, which was made according to the open space principle and in which the living room, kitchen, dining room and study were combined. “For example, it became absolutely clear to us that with such a decision it was necessary to expand this area visually. And this is precisely why the kitchen wall was finished with glass, which creates an additional perspective. For real mirrored here only sliding partitions from the company TRE-P&TRE-PIÙ, with the help of which, if desired, you can quickly and easily separate the kitchen room from the rest of the living room space.

Oak floor was made by individual order, the drawing of parquet from enlarged squares optically gathered space. The decoration of the floor, ceiling and walls took over the famous decorator Marat Ka: "The walls, if you touch them, are suede to the touch. We took the so-called square base - a pattern of parallelograms. The decor is found in the interior decoration style ar deko, but here we decided to modernize it. It can serve as an excellent background for any design experiments of the owners. Thanks to the architectural and decorative methods, the whole apartment began to seem much larger. ”The transparent office became deliriously set in the layout of the apartment.“ Brilliant! ”- the architect jokes. The glass, slightly tinted walls surrounding the workplace give the owner an opportunity to always be in the center events. At the same time, if necessary, you can completely isolate this space by sliding the thick curtains around the perimeter of the glass walls. "It seems to us that it is exactly at home that loved and loved ones are crazy eat the rhythm of our lives - so it is important not to lose sight of each other, preserving and protecting the common peace ", - says the architect.

In the distant part of the apartment there are private rooms - a bedroom, a bathroom, a dressing room, and also a guest room. This is a "reserved" zone of any apartment, and its proper organization is very important. To get from the bedroom to the bathroom or to the dressing room, for example, you can directly, because they have two entrances. And all in order to not return in the morning once more and not disturb the sleeper.

To become a clear layout simple functional furniture. The French say that a beautiful woman’s dress should not be noticeable, only her face and image should be perceived. In the same way, in the interior space with one detail, you can either destroy everything or create everything! Therefore, the authors, together with the owners, have long picked up furniture and accessories, but now they are not seen as if, and this is one of the main advantages of this work. "It really is absolutely unimportant what kind of sofa you have in your interior. It is important to feel happy!" - concludes the architect.
