Both the first and the second are true: the designer ciphered the word oro (“gold” in Italian) in ornaments. The designer does not carry the gold theme directly. He is not talking about gold himself — about new luxury, as he understands it.

In general, this style can be described as a reinterpreted art deco: the monumentality of forms, the splendor of finishes, geometric patterns — all these are signs of style.
