The chair, according to Finn Stone, is the piece of furniture closest to the human body. Based on the same principle, the English designer prefers a smooth line. It also adds dynamic bright colors and constant optimism. The Englishman Finn Stone created his first piece of furniture ten years ago, when he was only nineteen. It was a chair for thought (Think chair). Someone has a magic wand (in the form of money or personal charm), someone has a carpet-plane (in the form of the plane itself or imagination). And Finn has such a special chair. Finn wants to come up with something unusual, so he sits on it. Skeptics will call it a habit mixed with psychology. (When our victory or failure is associated in the memory of the soul with a thing.) So be it. It’s generally impossible to argue with skeptics: they can all be easily explained. Stone chairs are shaped and energetic. Figurative - because he is a sculptor. As for energy, this is a special conversation. For Finn, the relationship of the thing with the human body is important. This was the subject of his thoughts when he studied art. Therefore, in the design of Stone, this topic is understood more widely than just the ergonomics or convenience of furniture. By the way, precisely because of the greatest proximity to the body, the chair became a favorite object of Finn. Let's start with the simplest: Stone's things are voluminous, and therefore tangible. We have everything that asks for a hand: a fluffy kitten, a polished wood. For touch is a sign of trust. This law is firmly rooted in the depths of our bodies, hiding in unknown distant past. Secondly, the chairs of Stone often “embrace”, as it were, surround the body, creating a feeling of security and peace. Finally, Finn simply does not organically tolerate sharp corners and straight lines. Our body also prefers the sliding smoothness of curves. Often, the seats of Stone's chairs are just a hole. What could be more comfortable and dearer to the body!
