Young spouses bought an apartment in a modern comfortable house on Mozhayskoye highway and have already begun repairs ... Architects Elena Pershina and Alexey Okrushko appeared a little later, but very on time. They managed to fix layout errors and create an unusual, bright interior. "The space is clearly divided into two main areas - public and private, - explains Elena Pershina. - The first includes a hall, living room, kitchen and dining room. The second - a guest room, children's room, parents' bedroom, bathroom and dressing room." Watershed " a small corridor in which the library was located. We consider it a great success that it was possible to comply with this logic of space (compared to the original project). The hosts were especially important because, on the one hand, they often want to receive guests, and on the other hand goy - you need to provide peace for their little daughter, who has her own regime. In addition, they just like a clear division into private and public space, and, in my opinion, this is a sufficient argument in favor of such a plan. " The way of life and preferences of customers, according to the authors of the project, corresponds to the emotional, rich decor of the apartment. The architect suggested that spouses who travel a lot and adore the East may find themselves close to the Byzantine associations in the interior. Byzantium - the “bridge” between the East and the West, a civilization that in its time had a great influence on Russian culture — alas, has long gone. Therefore, in the author's interpretation of architects, things in the “Byzantine” style are not without a taste of theatricality, they are made, so to speak, with the effect of alienation. “Indeed, it is possible to speak about Byzantine motifs with a high degree of conditionality,” explains Elena Pershina. “In general, I would define the style of the interior as eclectic. I use this term without a shadow of negativism. Eclectic implies an increased ability to transform, which means , liveliness and flexibility. "Elena Pershina: “The owners of the apartment are talented and very active people who like to change their interior from time to time. Therefore, I chose eclecticism as a dominant. And decorative Byzantine motifs became the leading ones”
