As the author of the project tells
To give the interior individuality, I tried to find not only original architectural solutions, but also special decorating techniques. The apartment had very low ceilings. However, it was necessary to hide electrical wiring and air ducts in them. As a result, the maximum height to which we reached was only 2.6 m. With large volumes of rooms, this ceiling height is extremely insufficient. Therefore, I had to create an illusion of greater height with the help of ceiling drops, glossy metal beams, lights, and doors to the ceiling.
I would define the interior style as a glamorous high-tech. The idea of using metal in its various forms was formulated at the very first meeting with the customer. The tone is set by a metal panel with an engraving, behind which a ventilation shaft is hidden. Initially, this box was stitched with stainless steel sheets, and the resulting seams wanted to be beaten with rivets, but the riveted iron did not particularly fit into the overall image of a rather glamorous high-tech. And I offered to make an engraving right on the wall. The seams under it were not visible. And the result was a very beautiful wall.
Part of the premises is decorated in a slightly different way. Children's rooms are an interpretation of the style of the 60s: bright lemon, pink colors, circles and stripes in the decor. Exquisite master bedroom turned out. Bas-reliefs on the walls made according to my sketches create a special romantic mood here. ”
