Is it possible to get to the ski slope without leaving the hotel? Can! If you live in Nira Alpina, a hotel in the town of Surleigh, at the foot of the mountain Korvatch. It is the highest in the Eastern Alps (3300 meters). The funicular that takes the skiers to the top starts right from the hotel’s doorstep. The cable car can be accessed from the reception, from the ski room where the equipment is stored, and even from the parking lot. In short, one hundred percent ski in, ski out. It is offered to ride on the tracks of increased complexity: here there are 17 red runs, one black and one unprepared (even the pros go round it). Night skating is also practiced here: on Fridays, the slopes are open until two in the morning. Children can be sent to the children's slope, starting at the hotel, and watching them while sitting in a restaurant or in a bar with panoramic windows facing the slope. Or even without leaving the room: the hotel is designed by terraces, and, thus, each room has its own terrace.
Alpine hotels can not do without SPA. And Nira Alpina is no exception. Treat here with ozone and oxygen. Developed special courses with their use. There are hydro and chromotherapy procedures, mud programs, and eucalyptus steam rooms. In the hotel’s restaurants, you can taste traditional Swiss raklets and fondue, in the bars - alpine aperitifs. The hotel even has its own bakery.
Nira Alpina is good in summer too. Mountain Korvatch selected windsurfers and kitesurfers. One of the founders of kitesurfing, Stefan Popprat, opened a school here. For your information: a kite is a board that is pulled by a kite.
