The luxurious wine bar in the former hotel for athletes was designed by designer Vladimir Andes in Krasnodar.

“A small room of 55 square meters. meters decorated in the spirit of the Paris apartment - the designer says. - We wanted to write a new story on the basis of the old, to create the atmosphere of a house where several generations once lived, and now a bar has appeared here.

We showed a few sketches, the customers approved them and we began to work. Two rooms separated by an arch, creating the boundary between the zone directly bar and a zone with tables. We planned additional cozy places around a high brass plinth in the center.

Provided a variety of seating, putting a sofa along the wall with a low table. For a basis, we took a thick range of black, gold, burgundy. The black walls were painted with golden floral motifs by our friend, artist Nika, Kaoto studio.

Then the surfaces were artificially aged using a special multi-layer technology with the use of paints on different bases, wax and special removal of layers with ignition. Molding used plaster. Furniture and light - vintage, but quite European - "not like a grandmother."

Countertops are made of marble in a brass frame. The windows left old, with a beautiful cover, we carefully restored them. Door openings increased. We hoped that when we remove the old linoleum under it will be a luxurious antique board, but it is rotten and we put a new, natural, in good oil.

The budget was modest - the customer spent about two million on everything, including kitchen and equipment. But we avoided standard solutions, so a small budget cannot be an excuse for a designer, the main thing is to have an interest in the project, and this is the task of the designer to involve everyone in the idea. ”
