Young wallpaper maker Texturae and its art director Chiara Andreatti presented part of the spring collection. The premiere will be held in April during Milan Design Week.

The brand invites authors according to this principle, in order to end up with an eclectic and expressive collection that can transform any interior.

The process is managed by the art director of the brand, the young and fashionable Italian Chiara Andreatti, who has become a real star of the season after collaborating with Fendi. For the House, she worked on the concept of a friendly and relaxing Welcome !, which was shown in December 2017 at Design Miami. In her works, Chiara uses Italian craft traditions, appeals to the 1970s style and applies a muted natural palette. The new collection of Texturea includes monochrome and combinations of complex shades, strict graphics and artistic effects: from imitation of brush strokes to blurry bokeh.

The Texturae brand, founded in 2016 by the entrepreneurs Daniele Morabito and Dario Pulitano (Dario Pulitanò), attracts original designers, artists, illustrators to collaboration. Wallpapers are designed not only to perform a utilitarian function, but to be an art object, “not to cover walls, but to offer new perspectives”, to promote the game of imagination. “Our wallpapers are designed to transform spaces into dreams,” say the founders of the brand.
