Promemoria furniture is a real tuning fork of modern luxury. On the achievements and plans of the Italian factory tells Romeo Sozzi. “I founded the company in 1988 in the vicinity of Lake Como, where I was born, and I still live. The first showroom was opened in Milan in 1992 in the “golden triangle”, between Montenapoleone and Via Bagutta. Twenty-five years ago, many clients were foreigners who came to Italy in search of high quality, handmade workshops and genuine Italian design. And we figured out what to offer them. Promemoria craftsmen use local Italian breeds and exotic rare species of wood in the production of furniture: Tuscan cypress, sucupira, black macassar. All wood is carefully checked, aged and processed according to old technologies. Varnishing, the natural texture of the surface and the natural smell of wood are combined into a single whole, turning each piece of furniture into a unique work of art. For upholstery we choose expensive natural fabrics: silks, flax, cashmere.

Today we have flagship stores in Milan, London, New York, Moscow, Paris, as well as a dealer network around the world. 2015 has become very important in the history of Promemoria. We have expanded production facilities with 13 thousand square meters. m to 20 thousand. We have a new polishing workshop, prototype manufacturing workshop. We made new recreational areas for employees and expanded the garden. In the same year, Bottega Ghianda bought the company, an excellent workshop for the manufacture of wooden furniture, whose products are famous all over the world.

Who are our customers? People with a broad outlook, traveling a lot, who know a lot about first-class quality. I like to personally speak with clients at the beginning of the project. It is important for me to understand their tastes, to feel their world, and then work out an optimal proposal. Our ideal clients are those who can penetrate into our plans and appreciate the class of ideas, materials, finishes, work. Now the Far East is important for us, especially China. The Russian market is also one of our priorities. Of course, we do not forget about Western Europe, where every year we try to strengthen our positions. The annual turnover of Promemoria in 2015 amounted to 30 million euros. "
