The German brand Duravit, celebrating its 200th anniversary this year, played a key key role in the transformation of the bathroom: it helped transform the “bathroom” into a territory of beauty, health and comfort. Back in the 1990s, the German company relied on design and collaboration with industry stars. Among the favorite authors - the Austrian bureau EOOS.

Together with EOOS, Duravit has released a number of outstanding witty models: among them is the “disappearing” shower cabin Open Space, the super-ergonomic asymmetrical bath Paiova, the bath that turns into a couch, a sauna with an invisible heating element that can be installed in the living room. And here's a new achievement: Shower + Bath.
The treatment of the shower cabin and bath as a whole allows for rational use of the space of compact city apartments: the external dimensions of the model are only 170 x 75 cm. Due to the glass door in the housing, the bath turns into a shower cabin, which is easy to enter. When the door is open, the bath disappears under a waterproof cushion-seat and remains invisible. On the pillow-seat to sit comfortably, taking a shower. The pillow provides one more function during relaxation in the bath - it serves as an individually adjustable back or a shelf. When the door is closed, the bath can turn into a foot bath or a sitz bath.
The implementation of the model was made possible thanks to the extraordinary precision of manufacturing - DuraSolid material provided accurate rounded shapes. As an option, Duravit offers a mirror-glass shower screen. This option brings extra visual space to small bathrooms.
