British designer Lee Broom celebrates the 10th anniversary of creative activity in 2017. In this regard, he will present a floor watch and a retrospective installation at Milan Design Week.

The anniversary project of Lee Broome is called Time Machine - “Time Machine”. It is not surprising that the watch is the main novelty that the designer will present in Milan in April. He decided to take the traditional "grandfather's" clock as a basis, but rework it in a modern way. From here a laconic look and the advanced mechanism - only one weight instead of two is used. The “walkers”, which turned out to be human-tall, are carved from a single piece of Carrara marble - one of the favorite and iconic materials for Broome. The arrows, the pendulum and the weight are made of brass. Limited edition - only 10 copies.

The second premiere of Lee Broome at Milan Design Week - installation of Time Machine, which can be seen in the renovated warehouse of Central Station. The premises have not been used for more than 30 years and for the first time will open the doors to the general public. Here they will put a carousel, on which furniture, lamps and accessories designed by Lee Broom’s studio for 10 years will “roll”. All models will be painted white.
