Marie fogelsang: a lot of food is great!

Dutchwoman Marie Vogelzang (Marije Vogelzang) has long been exploring food as an object of design. For example, working to change our visual perception of the amount of food. Inspired by psychologist Brian Vansink’s research on batch control, she created Volumes — funny forms of organic forms designed to create the illusion of a fuller plate and more of its contents. The idea is simple: when we see a lot of food, we feel richer. Projects of Marie Vogelsang, Studio Marije Vogelzang - at The Senses: Design Beyond Vision at the American Design Museum Cooper Hewitt.
