Chicago is experiencing a restaurant boom. Among the new designer places is the Bellemore Restaurant, whose interiors are designed by Karen Herold and Studio K.

Decorated with a nostalgic taste and European choice of furniture (things created by Nigel Coats and Front designers for Thonet, Jaime Aion for Wittmann and Joe Ponty's brass and opal glass chandelier), the restaurant has many different areas.

Dutchwoman Karen Herold arrived in Chicago from Amsterdam 20 years ago, falling in love with the city, which became her second home. Receiving education in the specialty "design of clothes", she quickly realized that her passion for design went far beyond the limits of cut and silhouette.

The fad of her Studio K studio (not to be confused with Studio KO, the fashionable French duet of architects Karl Fournier and Olivier Marti, the authors of the museum Yves Saint Laurent in Marrakesh) - local cafes, bars, restaurants. However, Studio K successfully deals with family residences.
