Flowers and porcelain zemer peled

“Flowering” is the result of collaboration between the company Bernardaud and the Israeli artist Zemer Peled (Zemer Peled). The author managed to put the dynamics of his sculptures in porcelain: lush flowers bloom on plates, cups, dishes and saucers.

Before starting to create the In Bloom collection, Zemer Peled spent five weeks at the Bernardaud manufactory, becoming the first outsider admitted to the holy of holies. Under the guidance of a master who has been working in the company for more than 30 years, she mastered the painting techniques, learned to make quick, accurate strokes and control the force of pressing with a brush.

Zemer Peled was born in 1983 in Israel, graduated from the London College of Art, lives and works in Los Angeles. Her works from matte or glossy porcelain are devoted to the beauty of nature: the artist makes up sculptures and installations of different sizes from thousands of fragments and shards. The works of Zemer Peled are in many private collections.

In Russia, the InBloom collection will be presented at TsUM, Barvikha Luxury Village, “House of Leningrad Trade”, Gallery Royal.
