The choice of the young curator Maria Cristina Didero focused on Chiara Andreatti. Unlike Celestino, who created the glamorous room under the motto “The Happy Room”, Andreatti worked on the concept of a friendly and relaxing living room “Welcome!”. She combined the ideas of animated luxury and elegance with the bourgeoisie of the 1970s, hoodies of Viennese secession and design mid-century modern diva Gabrielle Crespi.

The four-meter, velvet upholstered sofa refers to the works of architect Joseph Hoffman. Japanese pendant lights (“women's hats”, as the designer says), ceramics (homage to Koloman Moser, founder of the Vienna Secession), chairs and vertical flower stands are designed from natural materials and enriched with craftwork.

Andreatti chose natural Himalayan wool rugs in ocher tones. In the same chart, the bamboo low tables are also solved. They are made by one of the last masters in Brianza, who is still capable of so skillfully bending the reed. Each table top is framed with a bright brass frame. The rocking chair is made of polished metal, the cushion and the adjustable headrest are made of "Roman" leather (specialty Fendi). The collection of dazzling white ceramics is decorated with brass inserts.

A special feature of the collection is the optical effect, which is created by the "oversized" sizes of objects. The sofa is too big, and the high-backed chairs resemble thrones: “I wanted you to realize yourself as something more than you are,” Chiara says with a smile.

The installation on Design Miami is called “Fendi mobile VIP-room” - in fact, this is a set of objects that is needed to organize an interior in “Fendi style” in any space - an interior that illustrates one of the deco trends. In 2016, these were the glamorous fifties by Christina Celestino. In 2017, young designer Chiara Andreatti recalls the fashion for ecolux and recalls the free but bourgeois seventies.
