Fauvisimo fabrics - harlequin painting canvases

Fauvisimo is a new colorful collection of Harlequin fabrics. The source of inspiration was a rich palette of Fauvist artists. Motifs with birds, flowers and landscapes amaze with the saturation of colors. “I have always been interested in the artistic movements of the turn of the XIX – XX centuries. I like to experiment with deep shades, relaxed, wide strokes and beautiful effects. While working on Fauvisimo, I thickly applied paint using a palette knife and created texture and pattern at the expense of layers and relief. I wanted to avoid small details, ”says the author of the collection, designer Harlequin Studio Becky Brown (Becky Brown).

Fauvisimo's rich palette is cobalt blue and purple tones, dull gray shades, sensual black and popular mustard colors, not excluding soft accents: muted green, rosy pink and honey. In addition to the Fauvisimo fabrics, the design studio developed a series of scenic textiles Sgraffito, which is suitable for windows and furniture upholstery.

Hand-painted dynamic ornaments give energy, and the fabrics themselves are pleasant to the touch. The collection includes printed fabrics, embroidery, jacquard fabrics and woven fabrics.
