Over 60 years of history, the German brand has gained a reputation as an innovative company. Andreas Dornbracht, the grandson of the founder of the brand, tells about evolution and traditions:

“Dornbracht manufactures high-quality bathroom and kitchen fittings. All products are 100% made in Germany. 90% of our suppliers are German, among them 70% are based in the East-Westphalian region. This guarantees the highest level of quality to the smallest detail.

We are proud to be an innovative trend maker. Not only in design, but also in technology. 50 years ago, the first invention of the founder of the factory, Alois Dornbracht, was a mixer with a retractable flexible hose (it was intended mainly for use in the kitchen). The novelty was successfully patented and enjoyed enormous popularity, at that time it had no competitors. Then, rotating and articulated pipe fittings, innovative mixers were added to the flexible valve. Development - Ambience Tuning Technique - once again confirmed the capabilities of the brand Dornbracht. We conducted research on the capabilities of electronic mixers. As a result, they approached the development of a product that electronically controls the water supply and regulates its volume and temperature through a central, intuitive and therefore user-friendly device.

Our slogan: The Spirit of Water. The Dornbracht brand embodies knowledge, ideas and inspiration in everything related to the water element. Having initiated the “Cultural Projects” direction twenty years ago in 1996 (Dornbracht Culture Projects ©), we focused not only on product design and quality, but also on our own cultural identity. We interact with artists, photographers, designers, musicians, forming new traditions.

Dornbracht fittings are made from raw materials that are 100% recyclable. Recently, we presented a new alloy of copper with zinc. The environmental performance of our products is much higher than the law requires - the company deliberately incurs significant production costs.

With Sieger Design, we have been together for 27 years and have not attracted anyone else (the exception was the invitation of Matteo Tuna for the development of the Gentle collection). Dornbracht’s long and successful partnership with Dieter Sieger began in 1985, when he designed the Domani single-lever mixer for us: it became fashionable and produced a lot of imitations. Then there were programs Point, Obins, Tara ... Cooperation with Dieter, and then with his sons Michael and Christian, turned into friendship. We do not just discuss design. For us, the Zigers are also consultants in communications and business strategies. ”

After Created in 1992 and modernized in 2008, the Tara series is the best-selling brand Dornbracht, with a circulation exceeding one million. She won numerous awards and a separate book “Tara. Armature and archetype. The Sieger Design Bureau calls Andreas Dornbracht "the culmination of design history, which strengthens Dornbracht's reputation as a trendsetter brand." The collection is available in black and white matte finishes (these architectural colors are intended by the authors to refer to the traditions of the Bauhaus school), as well as in platinum, matte platinum and chrome.

An openwork brass partition is also included in the Horisontal Shower program. She passes sunlight into a private spa.

HORIZONTAL SHOWER The horizontal shower is one of the brightest innovations of Dornbracht. Thanks to her, it became possible to take a shower while lying down, which, according to experts, provides a more intimate contact of healing drops with the body surface. “We have transferred the familiar procedure to everyone in a new dimension,” notes the factory manager Andreas Dornbracht. Similar to the traditional vertical soul developed by the brand, there are various programmed modes, such as “balancing”, “energizing”, and “relaxing” (destressing). They differ in temperature, intensity and nature of the flow of water.

The forms of the Madison collection refer to the beginning of the 20th century.

MADISON Madison series is available for 35 years. Nostalgic charm in it is combined with modern functionality. The model convincingly illustrates the Dornbracht approach to the problem of ecology: the factory cares not only about the physical, but also about the aesthetic durability of its products. They do not go out of fashion, and therefore do not require replacement. This saves resources and reduces the burden on the environment.

The design of the Selv mixer is designed to harmonize with any environment.

SELF The 2012 Selv Collection is a full-scale rebar line in chrome steel or matte platinum. There is also a kitchen faucet version. The authors from Sieger Design have developed for her pure concise forms that are neutral with respect to the interior solution. These mixers easily fit into any environment, combined with both marble and ceramic tiles of fashion collections. Thus, the focus is on the personality of the owner, his individual taste and sense of style.

The central control element of the ATT system.

AMBIANCE TUNING TECHNIQUE (ATT) The technology with this name was introduced in 2010 and is part of the Transforming Water concept (“Transforming Water”). For the first time, different types of jets coming from openings of various configurations (Just Rain, Water Sheet, Water Bar), it became possible to combine with pre-programmed temperature and quantitative modes to create an individual scenario of the water procedure.

Gentle accessories collection.

GENTLE The collection of accessories was designed by world-famous architect and designer Matteo Thun. Includes holders for towels and toilet paper, hooks, bath handles, cosmetic containers, stands for soap in three sizes. The materials combine chrome and high-grade plastic. Shades: light gray, creamy white, matte black and especially fashionable taupe - the color of the fur of the mole.
