Dimorestudio tables visiting delacroix

Within the framework of the Paris Festival of Designer's Days (May 30 –June 5, 2016), designers Emiliano Salchi and Britt Moran (Dimorestudio) presented spectacular tables from the Palmador collection to the public. Each item is made on the principle of a collage of colored planes, so the whole exhibition is called “Conversation Colors”. Tables in which transparent glass, brass and lacquer vary are housed in the halls of the Musée Delacroix - the Eugene Delacroix Museum on Ryu Fürstenberg (one of the branches of the Louvre) in the house where the artist’s last apartment is located, which gives the whole exhibition incredible chic and eclecticism.

Tables are the main exhibits, but the exhibition is complemented by carpets. In general, Dimorestudio's offer is rich and demanded by customers - more than 50 items: tables, consoles, armchairs, racks, wall carpets, lamps, which the authors assign digital codes as names. Items produced by masters of Lombardy. "Joy, surprise, nostalgia - these are the feelings that we cultivate with our design."

Experts define the style of designers as "vintage chic", and they themselves admit that they draw inspiration from Italian objects of the 1930s and 1940s. They have studied in detail the work of their predecessors and now have an excellent collection of their favorite authors. In their Milan apartment there are many masterpieces, including the desk and chair by Joe Ponti, the sofa Dino Gavino, the chair of Pierre Giacomo and Achille Castiglioni, several works by Carlo Scarpa.

The exhibition Conversation Colors will run until June 5.
