Cementiles models were designed by Paola Navone, India Madavi, Campana brothers, Tom Dickson, Jaime Aion, and other big names. Rockwell became the first American on this list. His version of Tonal - with dynamic graphic patterns and an ombre effect. The latter was chosen for its “transitional” character. According to the author, the “intermediate” spaces in architecture are the most interesting. And the same goes for color. The collection includes a square and hexagonal tile, which can be used for floors and walls.

In a palette of shades of gray, blue, green and terracotta (29 options!). “When we started working on the collection, we gave David complete freedom of choice,” recalls Rosella Bisazza. - And he just asked us to add a new color. David loves blue, and we lacked such shades in the palette. So we added another one and now call it David Rockwell Blue. ”

According to the architect, the material itself was important to him - the cement returns it with his thoughts in childhood years spent in Mexico. “Simpler patterns emphasize the quality of the material, do not distract attention from it,” says Rockwell. “There is some courage in this: in the world of many complex details, such a solution really stands out.”
