Batiik Studio is a young design agency located in the Paris suburb of Montreuil. It was created by interior designer and architect Rebecca Benichou. The fad of the company is miniliving, small apartments. This does not mean that the studio does not take up large areas. Simply microformat they get really brilliant.

Rebecca says she always pays attention to the daily use of things, the way of life of future residents. Every centimeter of storage space is not just dear to her and her young team - in French she strives for aesthetically flawless solutions.

The originality of this project lies in the special design of the furniture transformer, which can be turned into a bed, a sofa and a dining table. The sofa bed is completely removed, making room for dining. Kitchen countertop turns into a table for 4 guests. A large closet is built at the entrance, it is supplemented by storage organized behind perforated doors around the apartment’s perimeter.

The French capital remains a dream city for millions of people from all over the world. Therefore, a modest footage does not mean a modest investment. For example, the budget for the repair and redevelopment of this 15-meter apartment in the 9th arrondissement was more than 30,000 euros.
