The terrace of the O'Mar restaurant (Teatralnaya Sq., 5, p. 3) is separated from the center of Moscow by light white curtains, but the din of the big city and the roar of cars seem to freeze as soon as you take the first step on the wooden catwalk. Vanity retreats, time flows more slowly. "O'Mar" - a chamber evening restaurant with an interior built on nuances and halftones. Here, reflections of miniature lamps “float” in patinated mirrors. Silver dragonflies tremble on the blue ceiling. Light drapes go down to the floor. Designer Veronika Kurnosova created a lively and delicate interior - a classic without pomp, simple and informative at the same time. For a small room, she chose a non-trivial color scheme - the multi-level plastic ceiling was made dark, the wooden floor was almost black. Thus, light walls and draperies, as it were, “pushing” the complex space. Linen upholstery, wicker furniture on the terrace, simple translucent curtains, frescoes based on the early period of Wassily Kandinsky - elegant improvisation on the theme of aristocratic sea recreation, strengthening cocktail of peace, excitement, revival and secular boredom.
