Milan Four Seasons is all good. Start with architecture. Once in a complex of buildings, which now occupies the hotel, was a medieval monastery. Guests of the Four Seasons can still admire the preserved, carefully and lovingly restored XV century frescoes and the cloister (courtyard) of the Renaissance. Indeed, the place is historical!
There are only 118 rooms in the hotel. The architect Carlo Meda was involved in the transformation of the private mansion, which the building remained for a long time to the hotel, and the designer Pamela Bey helped him in the interior design. Furnished rooms in the style of elegant classics, which corresponds to the nature of this place. Renaissance frescoes that adorn the ceilings and walls of rooms have undisguised charm. Agree, waking up surrounded by angels, written almost by the hand of the great Michelangelo, is a rare pleasure. Especially for those who are not indifferent to high art.
Another indisputable advantage of the hotel is that in order to have a great dinner, no need to go far: restaurants Il Teatro and La Veranda perfectly prepare Mediterranean dishes. The first is famous for its excellent carpaccio and tartar, as well as snacks from crabs. The second is fish delicacies and a special vegetarian menu.
With the Four Seasons everything is close by. For example, the Duomo and the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery (Milan’s equivalent of the Moscow Central Department Store) is a five minute walk from the hotel. If you need a car, the concierge will call a limousine.
