Architects Elena Belkova and Oleg Korol have decorated a "brilliant" apartment in the style of a new house in the center of Moscow ar-deko

A new elite house in the historic center of Moscow, the windows overlooking the Kremlin - it’s hard to imagine a better place for an apartment. The apartments required an appropriate “status” decor - luxurious, using expensive materials and spectacular architectural solutions.

The project was created very quickly: in less than a month, the architects and the customer decided on the general concept of the interior and the details of the layout and began to work on the object. To start Elena Belkova and Oleg Korol соедandнandлand две соседнandе квартandры. На образовавшейся площадand в 310 квадратных метров необходandмо было разместandть трand спальнand, кабandнет, гостandную, столовую and кухню. Все лandчные комнаты, по особому пожеланandю заказчandка, былand сделаны полностью автономнымand: в каждой andз нandх есть отдельный санузел and гардеробная. В общественной зоне квартandры авторы, напротandв, оставandлand свободную планandровку. Холл, гостandную, столовую and кухню онand объедandнandлand в одно помещенandе.

The front part of the apartment is designed in the style of luxury ar-deko. The architects used the most spectacular and expensive materials for its design: onyx and black marble for the floor, crystal lamps, brilliant lacquered wood, silver decorative elements, and faceted mirrors. The color scheme of the interior is built on the characteristic ar-deko a solemn combination of several shades of brown, black and rich red with silver splashes. In the design of the living room, the authors of the project used a variety of decorative techniques: the ceiling is decorated with color-coded caissons, the mirror wall is composed of many diamond-shaped panels, the marble floor is decorated with onyx mosaic. So that the interior does not “decay”, the architects combined it with the help of repeating decorative elements - silver “frames” on the three walls of the room.

The same frames are used in the decoration of other rooms, for example in the office. The use of repetitive elements of the decor allows the composition to combine the various rooms of the apartment, to create a single interior style. The same as in the living room, wall panels of two colors are present in the design of the cabinet. Crystal "columns" lamps are reappearing in the decor of the bedroom. A common creamy-beige color scheme with gold and silver splashes and the use of a single coating for walls with mother-of-pearl shade in all rooms also contribute to the stylish unification of the space.

Elena Belkova: “Customers of the apartment are young people, ready for experiments and extraordinary solutions. We offered them an interior design project with shiny glossy surfaces, mirrors and bright color accents. ”
