Architecture and design for me are still different areas: the architect thinks about the future, about the project being not only beautiful, but also reliable and durable; such a structure is forever. Design is a flight of fantasy and meaning, it is imagination that I value most of all. It happens, however, and so that I can not choose a single style. On the one hand, I love wood, the smell of a Russian hut, but minimalism is close to me in the interior. Congestion with details makes it difficult to concentrate, so I try to avoid it. Every time when my husband and I are planning a new interior in the main house or in the guest house, I cannot choose between the stylization of a Russian izba and a modern minimalist space. Most recently, we bought a plot on which a guest house was built, and over time our dream house will appear. As soon as I realized that I didn’t want to choose between styles, a compromise came: a loft-style guest house. Such a solution turned out to be optimal for everyone: no need to shout through the rooms and run endlessly on the floors. I added puffs and pillows to the interior, there is a cozy fireplace area in the house, there are book shelves, and, of course, we could not do without a home theater. In such an interior, you can add bright accessories: an unusual color or shape of a floor lamp or a beautiful floor vase. ”
