Summer is known to be a “dead” season for business, but not for a restaurant one. This season is especially pampered those who love new places. The restaurant card was supplemented with a new name, which immediately attracted the attention of an intriguing name. What else can surprise a sophisticated Moscow frequenter, in addition to exotic cuisine, breathtaking prices or a world-renowned chef? Of course, the interior ... not like the others. The author of the project, architect Yury Andreev, considers his interior "detached, in some ways even marginal." But it seems that Yuri got excited with the assessment of his brainchild. The recently opened restaurant "Vanil" (Ostozhenka str., 2) is distinguished by the exquisitely refined luxury of architecture and decor inherent in Parisian restaurants rather than the Moscow "outsider". At the entrance is a bar with rows of vintage wines, which already indicates the status of the institution, and the furniture from Cappellini leaves no doubt about the truth of our assumptions. A huge mirror in a gold frame, which reflects the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, located nearby, became the main interior decoration. The dimensions of the mirror “disavow” its own reflective properties, but they make it a “mirror” with the style-forming center of space, a self-contained decorative element that does not need any additions. The interior presents almost all the textures used in the design: steel and stone, glass and wood, stucco molding and brick, fabric and plastic. The soft, calm and cool colors of the furniture are harmoniously combined with the noble "graying" of the brickwork, once again emphasizing the stylish aesthetics of the room. The result was a fashionable, exquisitely luxurious and at the same time laconic in the decorative sense of the interior.
