Restaurant Zaturabar is located in a historic building in the center of Moscow, on Maroseyka. Tells the architect Valery Lizunov: “Since this is a monument of architecture, it was impossible to completely redo something. The rooms were played in large volumes: massive chandeliers practically fall on the bar counter, the ceiling height is underlined in black. In the lower rooms of the building, we retained vaulted brick ceilings. If we talk about design techniques, the restaurant is literally filled with them. These include hanging plaster dogs, lamps, and a collage of paintings by the Hermitage, and painting the walls of toilet rooms, made by a professional artist. The theme of this interior is “France of the 18th century”. There are few direct references to this time in the interior, but the overall concept is read quite clearly. ”
