“We wanted to make a Georgian restaurant, but customers asked to designate an oriental style only as a decor,” says Maria Zhukova. “Many things in Marani have their own story. For example, the books that we hung on one of the walls were taken from the friends of the hosts in Tbilisi. Carpets and vases, old photographs were bought on the Dry Bridge and in the antique shops of the city. In the restaurant, two levels. On the ground floor there is the main space with a bar area, there is a fireplace room and a room with soft sofas. On the second we made a solid glazing. In summer it can be dismantled and turned into a green terrace. ”
