The restaurant of the Central House of Architect (20 Malaya Nikitskaya Street) has always been a favorite place for Moscow gourmets. Alexey Tolstoy, Ivan Kozlovsky and other celebrities often visited here. Wooden columns, rigidly fixed space with brick walls - this place looked like for many years. The big difficulty in working with such a space is that the architecture cannot be changed, since the entire CDA is a historical monument. Albina Nazimova, a decorator, likes to work with such premises - “to remain within the system, but with her own view of the world”. The walls of the main hall of the restaurant "Architect" were decorated with murals by the famous artist Ilya Piganov. Floor lamps CHELINI not only hid massive columns, but also gave them a new architectural life. Strict furniture, hinged doors with glass, wall molding, large mirrors look decent and intelligent.
