The brothers Egor and Saveliy Arkhipenko designed the showroom of elite IQ sanitary ware, located in a factory building of the mid-nineteenth century (St. Petersburg, Uralskaya St., 13). Despite the fact that the interior looks modern, much of it remains from previous times. The authors of the project admit that they sought not so much to make the interior, how many - "played the story." "It was important to preserve the internal structure of the building, the monument of industrial architecture," says Savely. The exposed brickwork serves as a contrasting background for the masterpieces of plumbing, and the cast-iron plates found during the reconstruction were used for facing the floor along with ceramic tiles. One of the walls was covered with sheets of stainless steel, which reflects and thereby transforms the space. The biggest wet-zone in St. Petersburg with existing sanitary engineering and a Turkish bath has become the pride of the showroom.
