The imaginative basis for creating the interior of the restaurant "Old Tokyo" (Petrovka St., 30/7) was served by elegant and laconic Japanese calligraphy. The decor was used the symbols of the Italian furniture factory TRIANGOLO. These drawings by inlay are made of wood on the covers of the tables, and are also present in the form of glowing panels on the walls. The same company made leather carpets and accessories. The bar counter, the most important element of the interior, is a solid piece of specially processed basalt imported from Italy. It is echoed by a dark strip of basalt flooring, which directs the visitor’s gaze to the fireplace, shaped like a shuttle - a kind of sanctuary that enlivens the geometric interior space. Each of them has large tables and the same panels with pictures, as in the main hall. The restaurant’s small elongated room seems poetic and laconic as the graphics of a Japanese artist, but it activates the viewer's imagination, allowing him to complete the picture with his own imagination.
