For a long time, friends rented houses 300 kilometers from Moscow, not far from each other. Nature, beauty, fishing, hunting ... Then civilization reached the wilderness, and there was no rest. I had to change the location. One of the comrades wanted to settle on the banks of the Volga. The place seemed so attractive to him that he decided to build two houses at once: one for himself (see the article "The collector's castle, or the Gallery of Modern Art"), and the second for friends. Both of these houses were designed under the guidance of a design duet. Igor Liturinsky and Ronan Leost. They were the authors of the architectural idea, and they were also engaged in interiors. The master's house was made in the "Russian" style, chopped, and the guest house - in the "Norman", stone.

Ronan Leostborn and raised in France, says that in Normandy there are many stone houses built from stone, rather like small fortresses. From the front, the guest house is really similar to Norman. Designers used for facing natural stone, made different size windows and arches of different height. These techniques have enhanced the image of a "village" home. Particularly noteworthy is the gallery formed by the side protrusions-buttresses. Thanks to them, the pitched roof of the house acquired an expressive rhythm, and the design - powerful bearing pillars, on which almost the entire load fell. With the help of such engineering and design tricks we managed to make two huge windows in the living room. In the interior design finds even more. First, it is the organization of the space itself. The first floor became a public place, the second - private. It was decided not to divide the huge space of the first floor into rooms, having isolated only the kitchen and the bathroom.
