The VIP room of the Premier casino in St. Petersburg at 47, Nevsky, appeared after reconstruction in a new edition. A luxurious empire interior can be taken for a carefully restored historical sample, but this is not so. It was not restored, but re-created, and the authors of the project were not here as copyists, but as talented interpreters. They managed to adapt one of the highest historical styles to the conditions of the casino. And despite the fact that at the disposal of architects were mainly decorating techniques, here with good reason we can talk about architecture. "Balancing" the doorways, installing a false fireplace and wall panels, the authors of the project adjusted the proportions of the interior. The rest was made by the details: furniture, doors, decorative coatings from TURRI and gaming equipment, made according to the sketches of Sergei Ivonin by SET Production. Massive empire chandeliers, covered with 24-carat gold, also of modern origin, are the product of MOSCATELLI. The deep blue color of the curtains and carpet is set off by the golden glow of the walls covered with potali plates. Salon painting - landscapes and marinas of the 19th century as the message of a high Empire style to its distant descendant, in the 21st century, plays the final chord.
