Отель на Paseo de Gracia, 70, в центре Барселоны, появился в 1918 году. Его открыл молодой и амбициозный предприни­матель Мартин Касалс. The hotel’s restaurants should try the local specialties, for example, going down to the Sunday gastronomic brunch (from noon until four o'clock in the evening), when dozens of various snacks are served accompanied by local wines and champagne. This is especially convenient if you come over the weekend. The hotel’s kitchen is managed by chef Nanda Zhubanu, owner of the Michelin star. Actually, the hotel restaurant in the 1960s was the first in Barcelona to be awarded this award.

On warm days, guests spend time in the bar La Dolce Vitae, located on the roof of the hotel (the view of the city is definitely the best in Barcelona). For summer brunch there is, for example, a Julep del Rey cocktail based on Remy Martin VSOP cognac and Chambord liqueur (with mint leaves, raspberry sorbet, sugar and ice chips). The main menu includes lobsters and Majestic brand burgers. And all this is accompanied by club DJ – sets. For the second year in a row, the hotel’s spa center is recognized as the best in Barcelona. Guests are offered a variety of programs, including stone therapy, Moroccan and Japanese practices. The procedures use cosmetics of the Catalan brand Natura Bissé.
