Another round of retro: designers recall the style of the 1970s

Instead of a mini-skirt midi and maxi. Instead of hippies, the image of an aesthetic intellectual. The 1970s, in contrast to the previous decades, were restrained, more glossy, not so motley, but even more eclectic. Turning to their heritage, the designers took folklore motifs (the Jaime Aion collection for LLADRÓ), strict silhouettes and a soft gray-green gamut diluted with coral and red tones. A 100 percent hit — the Curve collection from GRIFONI HOME DESIGN®. The name can be translated as "Bend": the design is inspired by the hilly landscapes of Tuscany, where the company comes from. Light wood, minimal decor, simple shapes — the furniture of the 1970s was taken as a prototype.
