The fashion for the classics will never pass, despite the enthusiasm for minimalism, high tech, deconstruction or other avant-garde trends. There is in her enduring appeal. The classic interior, as well as the expensive wine of many years of aging, will always find a true connoisseur. A new work by architect Oksana Lychagina confirms this old truth. The choice of the classical orientation of the interior was also set by the wish of the owner of the institute of beauty "Satis", who wanted the design to be special and solemn in the framework of one style. The starting point in the implementation of project ideas was the choice of furniture. That it is the central decoration that forms the front style of the room. This is a luxuriously furnished reception desk, and original showcases for cosmetics in the form of columns, and a markedly “unprofessional” equipment of workplaces in the hairdresser’s hall. The architectural solution of the space, divided into two parts, the functional purpose of which is clearly thought out, is stylistically designed. The transition from one zone to another is indicated by a combination of illumination: the natural light of the active zone is replaced by muted artificial halftones in the "private" part. In the first zone, fenced off from the bustle of the city, an atmosphere is created where visitors can relax and prepare for the mystery of turning Cinderella into a princess. In the second, as in a women's boudoir, intimacy reigns. Having crossed its threshold, they fall into the power of professionals who will conjure over them in well-equipped offices. In this world of cosmetology, the floating lines of the ceiling, the gentle peach color of the walls and the soft light pouring from the ceiling dominate.
