To shock the visitor, to catch him by surprise - the authors of the Fishermen’s Club interior set themselves such a goal (Kadashevskaya Emb., 6/1, p. 3). The inconspicuous old entrance door opens a “filling” that is completely unexpected for a modest facade. This is where it all begins. It is as if a visitor finds himself in another world, where everything is possible, where different styles are mixed up, where that which, according to generally accepted concepts, cannot live together, gets on together. Here there was a place for classic plaster bas-reliefs, cold hi-tech metal, modern elements, oriental patterns, and even ethnicity in the image of a Ukrainian farm. In addition to the three main halls of the restaurant, there is also a billiard room, a Russian bath, a sauna, a Turkish bath and a swimming pool. In short, there is everything that the soul of a real fisherman can wish for. And after all, any Russian person is extremely close to a state of hope for maybe catching a goldfish. The impatient expectation of miracles of unearthly and unprecedented tales. And if somewhere the aspirations of a fisherman come true, so in this club. So, from the mirror hall, illuminated by neon light, and from this even more fascinating, guests get into the main hall of the club. Its design imitates the underwater kingdom, and a small mezzanine with tables is like a deck of a ship, from where three charming plaster mermaids are ready to dive into the "water depths". The main attraction of this hall is the stage, under which a ten-ton aquarium is located, and two reef sharks, reaching three and a half meters in nature, and the white-eater man-eating eater, capable of growing up to six meters, safely inhabit in it. Backlight plays a big role in the "underwater kingdom". The room can be given a very diverse mood, dyeing it in different colors only thanks to the lighting control, as if by magic, instantly turning it into the quarters of the Snow Queen, now into the sultry palace from the Thousand and One Nights. All the elements of decor - forging, stucco, reliefs - designed by the authors and made by domestic craftsmen. Particularly striking is the laboriousness and thoroughness of the painting on the wall of another hall of the restaurant, depicting the scenes of the daily life of the Ukrainian village. All premises of the club are very characteristic. They do not interact with each other, as they have different styles and purposes, but they are subordinated to the common task: to surprise, amaze the viewer, engage him in the game, make him forget about everyday life and temporarily turn into a child who wants to catch a golden fish one day ... it's fine. For the very opportunity to temporarily plunge into a fairy tale is priceless.
