In this house, built in Almaty, the designer Elena Usova created a completely European interior, deciding it in a comfortable beige and brown gamut
"The artistic solution to the interior became apparent almost as soon as I understood the preferences of the customers," says Elena Usova. - Beige-brown palette, strict, concise forms of furniture, elegant lamps. In general, the interior should have looked graphic, but this graphic should not have seemed too sharp, as, for example, the combination of black and white colors. "
The materials that Elena picked up for the realization of the idea fit perfectly into the overall concept. This, for example, such wood species as wenge, walnut, bamboo, this is a natural stone in the decoration of the fireplace, this is natural peach-colored silk and a very pleasant texture of the shades from which the curtains are sewn. Metal and glass are also present, but in a very small proportion, so that if they “cool” this interior, it is quite a bit and also in the necessary proportion, adding cool aristocratic chic.
In this regard, it is worth paying attention to the wonderful open fireplace, above which a glass parallelepiped soars, as it were, in zero gravity. "The fireplace has become not only a powerful style-forming factor," explains Elena Usova- it became a kind of starting point in the formation of the two-light space of the first and second floors. It combines space both vertically and horizontally. "On the second floor there are bedrooms and bathrooms of all family members (parents, daughter and son), on the first floor there is a living room, dining room, kitchen. And from the second floor, from the balcony, a beautiful view of the living room with sofas from FLEXFORM and an almost immaterial fireplace, through the glass of which everything is visible - walls, parquet, and curtains. When you move around the living room or the dining room, you unwittingly pay attention to the fact that the fireplace puts accents at various points in space, makes you see the interior in a new way every time. And such a well-built admiring of space is appropriate here, since the interior turned out to be elegant, with harmonious proportions. The designer made it almost entirely open. On the same floor there is an office located autonomously, on the other side of the stairs. And it is quite justified. Since his appointment is more private (he can play the role of a small living room for the reception of a narrow circle of friends), the designer did not include him in the area of premises with a pronounced social function.
In addition to the first and second floors of the house there is also a basement and an attic. “The attic is a big bright room where children learn lessons and play,” says Elena. “It was there, and not in one of the nurseries, that they put a computer. And in the basement there is a kind of entertainment complex: a home theater, a billiard room, a gym, a sauna with a large bathroom, a bar.The space of the billiard room pays tribute to the classics - wooden wall panels, rough plaster and a green field of the billiard table. The home theater was conceived as a place where the whole family would come together to watch a movie. velvety to the touch textile wallpaper, carpets on the floor ... But this is just what he has to become - the fact is that he is not yet fully completed. I think that when there is something else to do in the interior, it means that he lives with his the owners, it functions that it is not static. And I am very glad that this interior has an interesting life ahead! "
Customer opinion: "We met with Lena Usovawhen they turned to Azimuth where it works. The house in Almaty is our first collaboration with Lena. It was a real collaboration. I think it was thanks to this approach and, of course, the architect’s professionalism that the house turned out. We are here very well. It seems to me that such rooms as a bath complex in the basement, a living room with a fireplace, an office, bathrooms, children’s rooms are especially well solved ... If we list further, then everything on the list of what they like will turn out.
Project author Elena Usova: "I believe that this interior reflects the tastes and habits of its owners and fully corresponds to their way of life. They are modern, progressive people, they have a wonderful family. They not only follow traditions, but also influence their formation. That is why they decided that they will be comfortable in the interior of a modern, but rather restrained and strict "
