The term custom – made, “made to order”, applied to unique cars and suits of individual tailoring, is becoming more and more relevant for the interior.

In fashion - "selective" interior, "tailored" by individual measures. Architects are increasingly talking about the author's design, when the elements of decor are made specifically for this interior and never again. Luxury brands, in turn, develop the direction of exclusive orders: the client can choose from a variety of colors, textures, prints to personalize the basic model or, with even greater imagination, get something unique, a thing that exists in a single copy. To this end, companies open the doors of their studios to customers. As it was done, for example, by the famous Italian factory COLOMBOSTILE, having diverted a significant part of its stand at the Milan furniture salon to an improvised workshop with samples of the finish, color layout and realized sketches. The popularity of limited editions, capsule collections and unique art products comparable to art objects is growing. Over time, these things will go into the category of collection, will become part of family history. They will tell about their owner more than a personal matter, because, like nothing else, they reflect his personality.
