The majestic chandelier Pigalle (Barovier Toso) aroused particular interest of the public at the Milan exhibition. Why? We questioned the owner of the company — Jacopo Baroviere.

It’s all a matter of current design and modern technology, says Jacopo Barovier: “The chandelier with 18 shades is the largest in the family of chandeliers Pigalle. The very embodiment of the idea of luxury, abundance, generosity! In this case, its design is concise. Milky-white Plexiglas ceiling lamps are crowned with facets made of faceted crystal. The central part of the chandelier is also assembled from crystal and plexiglass. The metal frame is almost invisible, it is hidden inside. The light source is LEDs. I am a fan of this technology. Each approximately 6 watt LED produces a light equivalent to a 40 watt incandescent bulb. And thanks to the material of the ceiling light turns out to be especially soft. But, however beautiful the light itself may be, this wonderful object is not just a lighting device. It is rather a light sculpture. Such a thing is able to organize space, set the style. I see it in a modern interior — elegant, laconic, perhaps with ar-deco elements. After all, her image was formed not without the influence of this style. ”
